Former Tennessee Titans running back D'Onta Foreman was involved in a scary situation on Thursday at Cleveland Browns training camp.

Foreman is reported to have sustained a neck injury during a kickoff drill at the Browns training camp site at The Greenbrier in West Virginia. The Browns released a statement shortly after Foreman was transported to a hospital via helicopter in Roanoke, Virginia, which noted the 28-year-old had movement in all of his extremities.

The fact that Foreman was transported to a hospital by helicopter is a startling detail in this statement. However, it's important to note that the hospital in Roanoke is over 80 miles from The Greenbrier, so this was clearly the most efficient method of transportation to help Foreman get the care he needs in a timely manner.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that Foreman "is in good spirits" following the incident, which is a positive sign.

Foreman is expected to take on a substantial role early on in the 2024 season while Nick Chubb recovers from his ACL surgery. Hopefully this is an injury that sounds scarier than it turns out to be, but Foreman is no stranger to adversity.

Titans fans will be wishing for a speedy recovery from a fan favorite after spending two productive years in Tennessee filling in during Derrick Henry's absence.
