Titans Star WR Receives Crushing Injury Update

    By Quinn Allen,

The Tennessee Titans have enjoyed a busy offseason that saw them add numerous weapons out wide for young quarterback Will Levis. Perhaps his most important one, however, is DeAndre Hopkins, who reeled in 75 catches for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns last season.

But, the Titans have just lost him at training camp to a knee injury, per insider Paul Kuharsky. The reporter noted he saw Hopkins limp off the field with the team's medical staff on Wednesday.

The early fear is that Hopkins could miss 4-6 weeks. If it is six weeks, he wouldn't play in the season opener against the Chicago Bears. Only a month means the veteran would have a week to prepare for Week 1.

Both Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd signed with the Titans in the offseason, giving the franchise a scary trio downfield for Levis.

With Hopkins out for the time being, 2022 first-rounder Treylon Burks will get the chance to have a bigger role. He's struggled through his first two NFL seasons.
