    Carson Sneed.

Carson Sneed, a four-star 2026 tight end from Nashville, Tenn., knows that he wants to decide soon. In fact, he named his top five schools in June and he's almost ready to make a commitment.

Keep in mind that he still needs to play his junior year in high school, so he must feel rather convinced that one of either Ohio State, Auburn, Ole Miss, Louisville or Tennessee is the right option for him.

He'll choose between the five schools on August 5.

"I’ve got a great relationship with all them,” Sneed t old On3’s Steve Wiltfong when he announced the top five. “And they’ve all got a message that sounds great to me and my family.

“I picked them for similar reasons. They all show insane love to my family they think highly of me and think I can be an every-down tight end in the NFL once I’m developed.”

One would think that Tennessee may have the upper hand in this recruitment, but both Ohio State and Ole Miss have been red hot on the recruiting trail as of late, so it will be interesting to see what Sneed finally chooses.

Whichever school he chooses, he'll be a big-time commitment. According to the 247Sports Composite, he's the No. 8 tight end in the nation.

Of course, with more than a calendar year left until he can sign, Sneed will likely continue to be recruited after his pledge.
