NASHVILLE - Sunday’s practice at Saint Thomas Sports Park was the fourth practice in pads for the Tennessee Titans in training camp.

Head coach Brian Callahan recapped the day by saying it “felt like training camp for the first time.” It’s hard to explain…but I got the same feeling from the sideline.

It was a really competitive practice from both the offense and defense Sunday. Early domination by the defense quickly turned into a string of unstoppable offense. All three quarterbacks (Will Levis, Mason Rudolph, and Malik Willis) had some highlight plays before the day was over.

    Practice Notes

    - It started as a rough day for the offense. In the first full team period of the day, the  defense was getting in their backfield and overwhelming Tennessee's offensive line and Titans QB Will Levis had some unforced errors.

    - Jack Gibbens recorded a tackle for loss on two of three snaps to open team period.

    - Eric Garror and James Williams each had a sack on Malik Willis.

    - Cedric Gray was one of the stars of the day. Sunday was the first practice that Gray has really stood out to me. He had a TFL of Jabari Small in the first team period and later recorded a sack on Willis.

    - In the first 7-on-7 session of the day, Titans quarterbacks completed 6-of-12 in the red zone. Four players scored touchdowns - Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chig Okonkwo, Kyle Philips, and Jabari Small.

    - Malik Willis had the most success of the Titans quarterbacks in the first 7-on-7 period, but head coach Brian Callahan thought this was part of practice that the defense won.

"I thought the defense came out with a lot of good energy and tempo today. They kind of got us in that first red zone period offensively, and I was kind of curious to see how our guys would respond after being tired and being on the losing end of a period," said Callahan. "I thought they came back and answered the next redzone period with a really nice performance."

    - The offense heated up in the second full team period, this time getting work in the red zone. Titans quarterbacks scores six touchdowns in 12 plays while 10 of 12 plays from the red zone resulted in a big gain.

    - There was not a single incomplete pass thrown in the second full team period of practice.

    - Mason Rudolph continued to build on his connection with WR Mason Kinsey, which has drawn attention in camp. Rudolph and Kinsey seem to always be on the same page. Kinsey caught a touchdown in team period and had a handful of other noticeable highlights with Rudolph throwing to him.

    - Julius Chestnut appears to be moving up the depth chart. He had a really good day on the ground and in the passing game on Sunday afternoon . Chestnut would currently be my bet for RB3 behind Pollard and Spears.

    - T'Vondre Sweat had another really strong day of practice. Sweat sacked Levis fro s safety during team period with the offense backed up inside the 5-yard line. Callahan said after practice that he can "feel" Sweat's impact just standing and watching.

    - S Matthew Jackson recorded his third interception of training camp on Sunday. Jackson came down with a pick against Malik Willis after Willis overthrew his receiver during team period backed up against the goal line.

    - LB Garrett Wallow suffered an injury during practice and finished early. It appeared to be a shoulder injury, but Callahan would not provide an update until the team has gather more information.

    - No sign of OL Saahdiq Charles (personal), S Jamal Adams (unknown), or CB Chidobe Awuzie (calf). Callahan says the status of these three players has not changed.

    - CB Caleb Farley did not practice after leaving Saturday's practice early with a hamstring injury.
