Tennessee Titans signing Quandre Diggs to one-year deal, per report

The Tennessee Titans have made yet another significant addition to their secondary this offseason, with the team reportedly signing safety Quandre Diggs.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter , Diggs and the Titans agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Diggs gets a base of $3 million that has an added $1 million in incentives for both playing time and performance. Shortly after news broke, Diggs confirmed the signing on X.

Diggs now joins his former Seattle Seahawks teammate Jamal Adams, who signed with Tennessee last month. The Titans have done big things in their secondary overall in 2024 after also signing Chidobe Awuzie and trading for L'Jarius Sneed.

Those four join incumbents Roger McCreary, who is coming off an impressive year in his first go-around in the slot, and Amani Hooker, who is another starting-caliber player on Dennard Wilson's defense. On paper, the Titans sport one of the best secondary groups in the NFL.

Unfortunately for Elijah Molden, this pushes him another spot down the depth chart, which also gives Tennessee an obscene amount of depth at the position.

It'll be interesting to see how exactly the Titans will use their plethora of options, but Adams figures to spend his time playing in the box when he's on the field while Hooker and Diggs do their work on the back end.

Diggs spent the past four-plus seasons with the Seahawks, where he earned three Pro Bowl nods. Before that, he was a sixth-round pick of the Detroit Lions and spent four-plus seasons there.
