Oscoda Township Man Convicted for Threatening Iosco County Prosecutor
An Oscoda Township man has been convicted for threatening his former landlord, who is also the Iosco County Prosecutor, as per reports by the Michigan Office of Attorney General. Dominque Simo, age 40, was found guilty by an Iosco County jury on a charge of malicious use of a telecommunications device. This felony could lead to a maximum sentence of six months in jail or a fine of $1,000. According to WNEM, sentencing decisions have yet to be announced, but the state noted its intent to seek a sentence that includes mandated mental health treatment.
