High speed chase over Teton Pass ends in rollover, arrest
JACKSON, Wyo. — A high speed chase on Saturday night over Teton Pass ended in the rollover of the pursued vehicle and arrest of its driver. Yair Guarneros, 19, of Jackson was taken into custody after allegedly driving toward a pedestrian in a vacant lot before leading law enforcement on a 30-mile chase from Jackson to Idaho’s Pine Creek Pass at speeds in excess of 100 mph.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — A Gillette resident is out $168,000 after recently falling victim to a cryptocurrency scam, Gillette Police Captain Kelly Alger said Monday. The high school football season will start this week in Wyoming. The 2024 season features a limited number of games in Week 0. There are also scrimmages, while some teams are choosing to practice. Class 4A is full go with its season. The other four classifications can choose to play or not to play a game in Week 0. That means some schools will make their debut next week.
