    Trio accused of stealing from Naugatuck Tractor Supply store

    NAUGATUCK, Conn. (WTNH) — Three suspects were charged Sunday in connection to a reported larceny at a Tractor Supply store, according to Naugatuck police.

    Officers responded to the New Haven Road store around 1 p.m. Driving near the scene, police found the suspect car and stopped it.

    Police said they found multiple stolen items in the vehicle, including power tools with security devices still attached.

    They also found the security gate where the tools had been locked was damaged during the theft.

    22-year-old Beker Jimenez, 20-year-old Nixon Mendez, and 24-year-old Elieser Valera were each charged with fourth-degree larceny and third-degree conspiracy to commit criminal mischief.

    All three are from Bronx, New York and were released on $5,000 non-surety bonds. They are all scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 14.
