    Kevin Durant Hints At 2028 Olympic Return Following Paris Win

    With the 2024 Paris Olympics in closure, athletes have returned back to their previous job roles with stronger performance resulting in something better to come for them. As for Team USA’s All-Star Kevin Durant, a two-time NBA champion, the Phoenix Suns power forward is looking forward for the 2028 Olympics.

    The All-time leading scorer of Team USA, Durant has a provisional status regarding his inclusion with the team for the 2028 LA Olympics.

    ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reveals of the ongoing discussion pertaining to the 35-year-old NBA star in a recent episode of ‘The Hoop Collective’. “I would not rule out KD playing, and I talked with Team USA officials, and they would give him a provisional yes right now.”

    Durant who was questioned on his possibility to play in the next Olympics following the win at the Paris Olympics, however responded “We’ll See“.

    A 4-time gold medalist

    Making his fourth appearance as Team USA’s star player alongside LeBron James and Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant seems to have made a remark yet again at the Olympics. Durant’s 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists 6-game average showcased a strong performance for the team.

    The win at the 2024 Paris Olympics, however, has made Durant, the first ever player of Team USA to bag 4 gold medals in the Olympic games.

    Since his first appearance in the 2012 Olympics, Durant’s performance reflected significant growth with a gold medal. His performance followed in the 2016 and 2020 Olympics also resulted in two gold medals along with his record-breaking performances, respectively.

    The 2024 Paris Olympics initiated from July 26 and saw different countries competing for the title in different categories. The end result, however, led the United States to claim the 1st position with 126 points, including 40 gold, 44 silver, and 42 bronze medals, respectively.
