UPDATE: Southern Door County School District expected to resume classes Tuesday

Administrators say classes are expected to resume Tuesday after being canceled at Southern Door County Monday due to an electrical issue.

Southern Door School District Superintendent, Tony Klaubauf, said they decided to cancel class Monday because there are no working fire alarms at this time.

Monday afternoon, we're told crews worked to repair a bad switch that affected the fire alarms and some emergency exit signs.
