Mexican restaurant opens its doors in Upper Arlington

UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio ( WCMH ) – A Mexican restaurant with locations in Akron and Canton has opened its newest spot in the Columbus area.

La Loma had its grand opening Aug. 3 and is now open to customers at 3051 Northwest Boulevard. The opening also celebrates the eatery’s first central Ohio location, with the restaurant originally based out of Akron.

The new restaurant offers a wide variety of Mexican cuisine and drinks for all to enjoy from nachos and street corn appetizers to salads, fajitas, birria tacos, enchiladas and more. La Loma also has dessert, seafood and vegetarian options as well.

The new spot for restaurant is the former home of Yabo’s Tacos, which closed but has other locations across central Ohio including Westerville, Hilliard and Lewis Center.
