Michigan Little League team disqualified from state Junior League tournament
Major news in the local world of amateur baseball came down on Tuesday as the Taylor North Little League Major Division (12U) team was disqualified from the Michigan tournament. According to Little League, the local association was barred due to having a player on the roster that was deemed ineligible.

KALAMAZOO, MI -- A man has died after being shot yesterday in Kalamazoo, police said. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety announced that a shooting on Wednesday, July 24, at Fox Ridge Apartments is now classified as a homicide.
