    Boil order

    NELSONVILLE — The Nelsonville Water Department issued a boil order for all customers on High Street from Second Street to Burr Oak Boulevard until noon Thursday. This boil order is necessary due to a tie-in for a new water line.

    When a boil order is in effect, those who are affected are asked to boil their cooking and drinking water for three minutes before being consumed.

    Health Clinic

    Heritage Community Clinic at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine will offer a Women’s Health clinic Thursday in Athens at 16 West Green Drive in Grosvenor Hall West.

    To be eligible the patient must be 18 years old or older, uninsured or underinsured and meet income guidelines. To find out if you qualify and to schedule an appointment, call (740) 593-2432.

    Fishing Day

    STEWART — A family fishing day will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at Poston Lake, 9035 New England Road, Stewart.

    The event is hosted by the Park Community Teen Outreach Advisers.
