No On-street Parking

NELSONVILLE — The City of Nelsonville announces that Fort Street, from Washington Street to Scott Street will have no on-street parking from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesdya and Friday. The parking ban is in effect so that crews can perform asphalt paving to the road surface. Expect delays, please avoid this area and use an alternate route.

Copperheads Clinic

The Southern Ohio Copperheads will host a pitching and hitting clinic from 9 a.m.-noon July 13 at Bob Wren Stadium. The event is free for the first 200 participants.

The event is sponsored by OhioHealth.

Torch Run

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics was held June 25 in Athens County.

Officers from the Athens Police Department, Athens County Sheriff's Office, Ohio State Highway Patrol and Licking County Sheriff's Office participated in the annual event.
