Fire Incident Reported at Hartford's Wal-Mart Store
There is more information regarding an incident from Monday night, July 15 at Wal-Mart in the city of Hartford. Hartford Fire and Rescue responded to Wal-Mart for the report of black smoke emanating from a walk-in cooler. Customers and staff members were in the process of evacuating the store when firefighters arrived. A heavy haze of smoke was spotted inside of the store. Hartford Fire and Rescue personnel began investigating the cooler, which was still giving off smoke. The situation was brought under control in 45 minutes. The compressor of the cooler sustained moderate damage, due to the heat created, and also causing a refrigerant release. They were also able to control the leaking gas.
De Pere Man Sentenced On Felony Fleeing Charges In Dodge County Court
(Emmett) A De Pere man has been found guilty of running from Dodge County authorities. Jordan Feemster entered a no contest plea to a felony count of Fleeing and a misdemeanor charge of Resisting. He was sentenced to 10 months in jail with work release privileges and was placed on probation for three years.
