Bardstown School expands FRYSC program
While Bardstown City Schools is set to begin on Aug. 1, the district’s Family Resource and Youth Service Center has been hard at work, expanding to new schools. BCS continues to create a community of care for all its students as the district expands the FRYSC program, which welcomed on two new coordinators this summer. Katrina Haydon and Sheila Calbert join Catherine Jean-Baptiste and Josh Payne as part of the FRYSC team providing services to students across the district. Haydon will be located at Bardstown Primary and Calbert will service Bardstown Middle School.
All schools in WCSD earn Family Friendly Gold Certification
SPRINGFIELD — Washington County Elementary School, North Washington Elementary School, Washington County Middle School, Washington County High School, as well as Washington County Early Childhood and North Washington Early Childhood have each earned Family Friendly GOLD certification from the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence’s Kentucky Collaborative for Families and Schools.
