Hiawatha alumni threads together art and a good cause
Fabric artist Phil Jones threads together not only quilts with elaborate color patterns but even weaves imagery in some of his projects. Jones’ more detailed fiber projects feature trees overlooking a river and another with a picture showing a young man looking down at water from a bridge. These images that were painstakingly threaded to where one would think they resembled paintings are accompanied by various color patterns and designs.
