Nine Cougars score in 17th ranked Barton women's soccer home opening blowout victory #GoBarton
Nine Cougars found the scoring column Saturday afternoon at the Cougar Soccer Complex as the 17th ranked Barton women's soccer team blanked Highland Community College 16-0. Scoring the third most goals in program history, the home slate opening victory improves Barton to 1-0-1 on the early season while Highland, returning to competition after a three-year hiatus, drops to 0-4-0 on the year.
Local Girl Scout installs garden at Bartlett Parkway Disc Golf Course

Topeka’s CIVIC brings community together to fight violence
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A group in Topeka hopes to combat the epidemic of violence that challenges our community. CIVIC, or the Community Inspired Violence Intervention Coalition, is a community-based collective, addressing the systems causing homicides and gun violence in Shawnee County.
