DeBates to attend Fort Scott Community College on livestock judging scholarship
On May 9 Will DeBates, 19, of Jasper, signed a letter of intent to attend Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kan. and receive a scholarship to judge general livestock at the collegiate level. The recent Pipestone Area Schools graduate will head down in early August, a week before the semester starts to participate in practice for the judging season.
FSCC New Foundation Director: Lindsay Hill
Lindsay Hill, 44, is the new Fort Scott Community College Foundation Director, effective June 11. Her office is in the Ellis Fine Arts Center on the college campus. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Pittsburg State University and was the FSCC Volleyball Coach for nine years.
