A new Burlington store is coming to downtown Indianapolis
Burlington Stores, a national discount retailer known for carrying major brand names for a fraction of the price, will open a new downtown Indianapolis location this fall. Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, will open in the basement of the Claypool Court building at 110 West Washington Street. The space previously housed the 20,000-square-foot Rhythm! Discovery Center, an interactive drum and percussion museum run by the Percussive Arts Society, which is headquartered in Indianapolis.

Art to climb on: What to know about new immersive sculptures at Newfields' Fairbanks Park
Three large new sculptures are now installed at Newfields, with each playing on different viewpoints of home. The series, called "Home Again," opened to the public in June at the institution's free Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park. Headstones dedicated for babies found abandoned more than 20 years ago
INDIANAPOLIS — More than 20 years after they were abandoned, two baby boys are finally getting headstones at an Indianapolis cemetery. The ceremony honoring Baby Ephariam and Baby Jacob was held Monday afternoon at Washington Park East Cemetery. Ephariam was found in an Indianapolis hospital parking lot in 2000. The next year, Jacob was found inside of a trash can.
