Former employees react to Rainbow Health's sudden closure
MINNEAPOLIS — Thousands of Minnesotans are in limbo after Rainbow Health announced it was closing immediately. Rainbow Health is a nonprofit that specializes in helping members of the LGBTQ+ community. It served 2,366 Minnesotans last year, and former employees said they work with tens of thousands of people within a marginalized community.
Light rail train strikes, kills pedestrian in St. Paul
ST PAUL, Minn. — A person was struck and killed by a light rail train Tuesday afternoon, according to Metro Transit officials. A spokesperson with Metro Transit police told KARE 11 the victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, near the intersection of University Avenue and Syndicate Street North in St. Paul.
