Big-box retailer Big Lots recently announced the closure of dozens of locations by the end of the year, and a location in Pennsylvania is among those marked for closure. There are 73 Big Lots in Pennsylvania, and according to the location finder on Big Lots website, the Big Lots in Exton is set to close before the end of the year.

A jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $860,000 was sold in Bucks County on Monday, according to the PA Lottery. "The ticket correctly matched all six winning numbers, 2-4-5-7-9-11, to win the $860,000 jackpot prize, less applicable withholding," according to the lottery. The winning ticket was sold at Smoker’s Express, 3 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville-Trevose. The store "will earn a $5,000 bonus for selling the big winning ticket," according to a news release. Dalmatia, Pa. — A warrant was issued Friday for a Northumberland County man who allegedly set his home on fire the day it was scheduled for a sheriff's sale. Montoursville School District to offer free school meals for all students
Montoursville, Pa. — The Montoursville Area School District announced that it will be offering free school meals to all students for the upcoming school year. The meals will include one free breakfast and one free lunch each day school is in session, according to the district. The free meals will be offered throughout the entirety of the 2024-2025 school year. Balances on student cafeteria accounts will remain, according to the district, and students can still use their cafeteria account to purchase approved snacks, beverages and extra food items in the cafeteria. Students may also purchase "second" meals at breakfast and lunch. Prices of the second meals vary depending on the school and can be found on the district's website.
