Zanesville woman draws eight-year sentence for grand theft and attempted kidnapping
ZANESVILLE − Kerris Sowers of Zanesville will spend eight years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted kidnapping, a fourth-degree felony; grand theft when the property is a firearm or dangerous ordnance, a first-degree felony; tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; and misdemeanor domestic violence. The 21-year-old appeared before Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark C. Fleegle on July 1 for sentencing. He also ordered her to pay $1,076.95 in restitution. ...
