Boys Golf finished 1st at the Ryan Reynolds Tournament
The Roughrider boys varsity golf team finished first at the Ryan Reynolds tournament at Cherokee Hills in Bellefontaine with an impressive score of 308. Earning medalist honors for the round was senior Brennan Steger who fired a 72. Braylon Lampert and sophomore Hayden Roby both shot 77. Kadin Behr and Blake Dingledine followed with 82’s. Also competing for the Riders was Joel Kogge who had 93. Riders are back in action on Monday.

Signups are underway for 2024 Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5K
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Registration is underway for one of the region's spookiest races. The Lima Kiwanis is hosting its annual Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5K and Mile Fun Run and Walk. It starts and finishes on the west side of Faurot Park, winding through Woodlawn Cemetery. The event proceeds go toward the Kiwanis student clubs that are building future leaders.

Ben Logan students approved for free admission to fall sports
The Benjamin Logan Board of Education met in special session Tuesday evening, Aug. 6, to address various action items and personnel matters. The board approved a measure for the 2024 fall sports season. All K-12 Benjamin Logan students will receive free admission. However, students in sixth-grade and below must be accompanied by an adult.
