Toledo man killed in Williams Co. crash Wednesday afternoon
WILLIAMS Co., Ohio (WTVG) - A Toledo man was killed and his passenger was seriously injured in a crash in Williams County Wednesday afternoon. According to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), Timothy Crowley Jr., 35, was driving a 2021 Ford Transit Van on State Route 66 in Williams County around noon. Officials said he failed to yield at a stop sign on the route near U.S. Route 6 and hit a 1997 Peterbilt tractor-trailer.
Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative will provide high-speed fiber internet
PAULDING, OH — On July 18, 2024, the Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative Board of Trustees unanimously voted to provide fiber internet as a new service offered by the co-op. This decision came after conducting several feasibility studies earlier this year. The board’s goal is to provide high-speed, reliable internet to the co-op’s electric membership via fiber-to-the-home.
Roundabout construction to begin soon to access new data center north of BG
Construction of a roundabout on Ohio 582 will begin next month to accommodate the new $750 million data center being built north of Bowling Green. The proposed roundabout will be located between Ohio 25 and Interstate 75, just to the east of the Northwestern Water and Sewer District headquarters. It will provide access to the new data center, the water and sewer district, and a proposed maintenance facility for the Ohio Department of Transportation planned to the east of the district headquarters.
