NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are increasing their presence at parking lots used by Yale New Haven Hospital staff after multiple break-in, car theft and assault incidents.

The lots, which are located on Sherman Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard, have seen 17 incidents in the last few weeks.

Three juveniles have been arrested in relation to the crimes, but New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker said that they will be increasing police presence in the area to hopefully prevent this from happening in the future.
