LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The wife of the shooting victim in the Newburg neighborhood claimed her husband was targeted for an alleged road rage incident earlier in the week. Romona Mattingly and her husband Joe have made it their mission since 2020 to feed front line workers and those in need and that’s what they were doing Saturday afternoon on Norene Lane when Ramona said a man walked up and shot her husband in the leg.

Outdoor vintage market returns to Waterfront Park in downtown Louisville

Fleur de Flea returned to Waterfront Festival Plaza with vendors from around the region selling antiques, collectables, vinyl, vintage clothing, handmade and repurposed furniture and more. The event was free and offered complimentary watermelon.

Authorities reveal identity of suspected Kentucky mass shooter
Officers from the Florence Police Department in Kentucky arrived at a residence Saturday to find seven victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The suspected shooter was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted wound after a car chase.
