Former North Carolina Tar Heels guard Shammond Williams has a new gig in college basketball. Williams has joined the University of Denver’s coaching staff, as an assistant coach. Head coach Jeff Wulbrun made the announcement Wednesday morning of the latest addition to his staff. Williams spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach on Old Dominion women’s basketball coaching staff under the direction of DeLisa Milton-Jones. Chapel Hill Police Reports 34-Year-Old as Missing, Asks Public for Help
The Chapel Hill Police Department is turning to the broader community for help in finding a missing person. A release on Wednesday said Samuel Bumpass, a 34-year-old who lives in Chapel Hill, has not been located since May 25. Police said he was last seen around 10:30 a.m. in the area of Weaver Dairy Road and Banks Drive, which is the Timberlyne Village shopping mall. Chapel Hill Police added that Bumpass is not believed to be in any danger.
