MJ Javid Ready To Forgive Trishelle Cannatella After The Traitors Betrayal

Season 2 of The Traitors was a rollercoaster. Viewers were on the edge of their seats, wondering what would happen next. The only certainty was that host Alan Cumming’s ensembles were going to slay. But for the contestants in the Scottish castle, who to trust, and who to betray, was what mattered.

So, when Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes “MJ” Javid made it to the end with Trishelle Cannatella and CT Tamburello, she thought that they would split the prize pot three ways. Instead, CT and Trishelle voted to banish MJ and snuffed out her dreams of winning some of the $200,000 prize. At The Traitors reunion, MJ came in hot. But it seems that now she had had a change of heart.

MJ is ready to unblock Trishelle, but not CT

During the second season reunion, MJ slammed Trishelle and CT as “grifters.” She also blocked them both on Instagram. Trishelle and CT understood MJ’s reaction, but her attack during the reunion surprised them both. Trishelle stated that she “would have never acted the way that MJ did at the reunion. Ever.”

Well, time has passed and now MJ is ready to bury the hatchet, so to speak, with Trishelle. “I am gonna unblock her,” MJ told US Weekly . “I really am. I’m going to hop on, unblock and I might even hit a follow. I don’t want her to feel bad,” she added.

“I think people are just learning that you’re allowed to have your feelings and I thought it felt appropriate at the time. But at the reunion, I think I was really after CT,” MJ explained. “He was the one that I was really upset with. Not really her and I think I told her that.”

Still, MJ has fond memories of her time competing on The Traitors. “I never thought I was gonna make it that far,” she stated. “It was such a fun experience and it was unlike anything I’ve ever done. It was amazing.”

So, who does MJ think has what it takes to win Season 3 of The Traitors? First, MJ doesn’t think that a Bravo alliance will work in the new season. “You can’t really trust [Tom] Sandoval . I don’t recommend that they come together,” she quipped. “ Dolores [Catania] from Real Housewives of New Jersey is my No. 1. I want her to make it all the way to the end,” MJ added.

The Traitors Season 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Peacock.
