It remains hot and humid as the summer feeling continues. The humidity levels continue to rise through the day and tomorrow, where it certainly feels soupy. The soupy and muggy air continues to linger into the weekend making for a great beach and pool experience. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3GENSs_0uD1r22o00
However, there will be a few moments of thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evenings on some days. This will not ruin time outdoors until later in the day. For example, Independence Day's high will be near 88-90 degrees with a mostly sunny sky until about 4/5 p.m. where pop up stray t-storms form due to the high humidity and heat. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4Q8L39_0uD1r22o00
The storms will be random and pop-up overhead, so it's important to track the puffy clouds tomorrow since we cannot see a line of storms coming. The chances for rain are greater on Thursday evening for northern New Jersey rather than at the beaches. It looks like the beaches will be fine for Thursday evening but then storms do eventually make their way there by the late night. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0RbcGA_0uD1r22o00

Friday's weather looks good until storms arrive at night again, but mostly overnight. Saturday's weather is OK for outdoor plans but the chance for rain is higher in most places, so there's a better chance to get rained on for Saturday. Sunday is better, though with limited chances for rain.

    Tropical update

Hurricane Beryl is a category 4 storms headed toward Jamaica. Dangerous impacts are expected, especially on the southern side of the island. The storm continues to weaken as it heads toward the Cayman Island and the Mayan Riviera - places such as Cancun, Cozumel, and Tulum/Belize by the weekend. Cruises and vacations planned to visit these areas will be impacted this weekend. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0SD98T_0uD1r22o00
