The sparks should still fly 一 rain or shine.

Scattered showers could hit the Big Apple just as the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration blasts off Thursday night — but it shouldn’t put a damper on festivities.

The dazzling light show will start at 9:25 p.m. along the Hudson River, when there’ll be a 30 to 40% chance of showers in the area.

“It’s a situation where there will be hit or miss showers in the area, but it won’t be a washout,” Fox News meteorologist Greg Diamond said Wednesday.

A weak cold front is set to move in and cause thunderstorms west of New York in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in the early afternoon, but the cold front does not appear to cause a threat of lightning or thunder in the NYC metropolitan area, according to Diamond.

The annual fireworks display — one of the largest in the country with 60,000 shells and 30 different colors — will blast off from five barges in the Hudson River this year for the first time in a decade.

The Macy’s fireworks have never been canceled since the annual event’s conception in 1976, and have occasionally taken place in the rain. The fireworks could be delayed in the event of severe weather, as they have been in the past .
