TURKEY (WHNT) — Buckhorn High School’s Caleb Holt added yet another accomplishment to his loaded resume Sunday.

The top-rated player in the state of Alabama for the Class of 2026 won his second goal medal with Team USA in the FIBA U17 World Cup, defeating Italy 129-88 in the title match.

Holt scored six points, four assists and two steals in the final game.

This is the second gold medal Holt has won with Team USA after winning the FIBA U16 title last summer.

Holt was named the Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year earlier this year after winning his second state title for the Buckhorn Bucks. He is rated as a five-star prospect, according to 247Sports, and is the No. 3 rated player in the nation.
