Louisville's Ashton Gillotte named first-team Walter Camp All-American
University of Louisville defensive lineman Ashton Gillotte is expected to earn a bunch of preseason accolades. And another came in on Monday. Gillotte was named to the Walter Camp Preseason All-America team. He was one of four defensive linemen on the first team and one of 11 defensive players from all across the country named to the first team by the Walter Camp Foundation.
Trial set for New Albany man accused of stabbing his mother to death
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A trial date has been set for the New Albany man who was accused of stabbing his mother to death last week. Maxwell Samourian, 23, appeared in court on Monday. He is accused of stabbing his mother, 56-year-old Sally Samourian, to death in her bedroom at her home on Greenview Drive. It happened back on June 19. Samourian was arrested last Wednesday and charged with her murder.
