'It's surreal': Neighbors calling for more police patrol after another man shot on W. Broadway
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Neighbors are asking for extra officers on patrol after another shooting in the area of W Broadway in one a week span. A man was shot in the 2700 block of W. Broadway just after 6 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to LMPD. Police said the man was taken to a nearby hospital and was alert and conscious.
Louisville Man Faces Credit Card Fraud Charges
A Louisville man was arrested Friday after police say he stole thousands of dollars from customers at his restaurant workplace. According to arrest documents, 27 year-old Justin Fox admitted to using customer credit card numbers from his time as an employee at Mark’s Feed Store to make more than $11,000 in illegal purchases from Home Depot and other places.
Grand jury indicts man charged with murder in Bon Air neighborhood shooting
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A grand jury has indicted a man charged with murder in a deadly Bon Air neighborhood shooting. Lacardo Wilson, 44, is accused of shooting and killing 57-year-old Aubrey Spry in March. Police say the shooting happened at an apartment complex near Del Rio Place and Commander Drive.
Jeffersonville businesses on high alert after dozens of firearms stolen from gun store
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — After more than a dozen firearms were stolen from Kentuckiana Gun Store on IN-62, nearby business managers like Kristen Jacobs say they’re on alert. “It doesn't seem like the type of thing where if you're stealing guns, you're going to use them for good,” Jacobs said. “I don't know what their plans are with these guns and what they're going to do with them."
Police Search For Two Shooting Suspects
Louisville Metro Police are looking for two suspects in connection to a fatal shooting last month in the Park Hill neighborhood. Officers responded June 8 to Dixie Highway and West Hill Street to find two male victims, who “appear to be juveniles,” with gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced dead at the hospital and the other was said to be in “seemingly stable condition.”
