TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help finding a man who may have attempted to lure a child from a bathroom at a store in New Port Richey.

Deputies were called at about 11 a.m. to the 8400 block of Little Road after receiving a report that the man tried to convince a child in the bathroom to leave the store with him, according to the sheriff’s office.

The child left the area and the man left the store, deputies said.

Deputies described the suspect as an adult male with a tattoo on his lower left arm, no facial hair, who was wearing a black hoodie and black pants. A photo was not provided.

No other details were immediately available.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-706-2488 and reference case number 24024662.
