    Benefit concert featuring ‘The Voice’ star to help Animal Charity with everyday expenses

    NEW SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Directors with Animal Charity of Ohio are hoping music and a little summertime fun will help cover some of their expenses.

    A benefit concert will be held Wednesday night at the Maze Craze complex on Route 165 in New Springfield.

    The concert will feature Noah Spencer, from “The Voice,” and Mike Cunningham.

    There will also be food and drinks available for purchase.

    Proceeds from the family-friendly event will go toward the local humane agency to cover some of its everyday operating expenses.

    “All the animal care needs, the staff needs for equipment and things that we’re using, food — we’re going to the pet store every week for food and litter. And so these events that we’re holding is really what’s keeping us going,” Jane MacMurchy said.

    The event is Wednesday at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $20 at the gate or online .

    Doors open at 5:30 and there is free parking on-site.
