“The Real Texas Gun Show” will be in Brenham next weekend for the final time this year. Residents will be able to buy, sell and trade firearms on Saturday and Sunday, August 3rd and 4th, at the Fireman’s Training Center. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
City signs new lease with county for 911 building
The city of Brenham confirmed a new lease agreement with the county for the 911 telecommunications building after a near two-year lull in formal signed agreements, with the county possibly moving out of the space by Dec. 31, 2025, according to the new lease approved by council during a regular session earlier this month.
