Looking for easy access to culture to go along with your New York City condo? A starchitect-designed apartment perched atop the Museum of Modern Art is up for grabs, and Robb Report got a first look at the exclusive new listing.

The 4,200-square-foot home is nestled within 53 West 53 , a striking residential tower in Manhattan designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel. On the market for $14.8 million , the hefty price tag buys four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, plus an 800-square-foot terrace; the light-filled pad is currently the only available unit in the entire building with private outdoor space.

The airy abode has a combined living and dining area with a slanted row of picture windows.

“We’re thrilled to debut this exquisite new home and further showcase the curated residential experience that can only be found at 53 West 53,” Samantha Sax, chief marketing officer USA, Pontiac Land Group, told Robb Report . “From the elegant scale and unique layout of the home to the remarkable private terrace, Residence 17B is an urban oasis set within a full-service, amenity-rich residential tower, allowing buyers to truly have it all.”

The so-called “manor above the MoMA” is appropriately decked out with museum-quality finishes throughout, including soaring 10-foot ceilings and wall-to-wall windows with motorized solar shades. Other highlights include the windowed breakfast room, which opens up to a custom kitchen that’s equipped with polished statuary marble countertops, a marble backsplash, back-painted glass cabinetry, Dornbracht fixtures, and top-of-the-line appliances. There’s also a windowed study off the great room that provides access the terrace.

The spacious primary suite boasts direct access to the landscaped terrace.

As for the primary suite, it has been spruced to the nines by the late French architect Thierry Despont. Here, you’ll find a massive walk-in closet and an equally impressive spa-like bath. The latter sports two separate custom-carved vanities, Despont-designed polished nickel automated mirrors, a cast iron Lefroy Brooks soaking tub, a freestanding shower, and radiant heated floors.

Of course, buyers at 53 West 53 have access to a slew of lavish amenities like a tricked-out wine tasting room , a fitness center, a library, and a screening room. Robb Report also got a sneak preview of the supertall’s latest perk, Club 53, a swanky, residents-only lounge with a private dining room. The tower recently launched a new dining program that allows residents to enjoy a curated menu inside the club or dine in the privacy of their homes.
