It seems like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will be watching fireworks launch on opposite sides of the coast this year as the couple are expected to spend the Fourth of July apart.
While the pair reeled in Independence Day in adorable matching all-white outfits in the Hamptons last year, it seems that the couple are keeping their distance as divorce rumors continue to swirl . J. Lo is expected to be celebrating the holiday in New York City as the pop star was snapped out and about in the Big Apple earlier this week on July 1. Three days later her husband Ben was spotted out and about with his daughter in California.
Ben looked comfy and casual as he and his daughter Violet spent some quality time together ahead of the Fourth. On Wednesday evening, the father-daughter duo were seen taking a scroll together down Sawtelle Blvd in Los Angeles as they headed to grab dinner together at the Japanese restaurant Kaz.

In the snaps, Ben's daughter was seen wearing a mask over her face as she leaned in and adorably wrapped her arms around her dad as they chatted and walked down the sidewalk. For the outing, the former Good Will Hunting star stepped out in a pair of dark wash jeans paired with a light grey "Speed Motors Unlimited" t-shirt with a black-and-blue flannel overtop. And despite being thousand of miles apart from his wife, Ben's wedding ring was on full display.
During Jennifer's appearance on the east coast, the Atlas star was seen wearing her wedding ring as well as she showed off her trendy street style in the city. For the summer outing, the 54-year-old actress was spotted wearing a pair of baggy light wash jeans paired with a white crop top with the words "JLO BE MY MAMA" written across as she showed off her toned stomach.
Ben and his wife Jennifer have been at the center of ongoing divorce rumors for months with their split said to be "all but certain with little chance of reconciliation." The former Gone Girl actor is also believed to have moved his belongings out of their shared $60 million mansion in California after just two years of marriage together. And while the pair have not confirmed or denied the rumors, they have been spotted spending quite of bit of time apart.
And while Jennifer is spending the day away from her other half, she seems unfazed and looking forward to the holiday as she posted that she was already in a "long weekend mood" ahead of the Fourth. On July 3, the On The Floor hitmaker shared a viral clip of a woman dancing and shaking her hips while taking on the dance floor her man.
In another Instagram Story, Jennifer reposted a glamorous snap of her enjoying a cocktail poolside as she showed off her curves in a tight lime green body-con dress. J. Lo shared the Independence Day post with her fans from her liquor brand Delola. The company shared the image with the caption: "Happy July 4th weekend loves. Stock up for your holiday festivities at DelolaLife.com."
