The Indiana Fever grabbed a massive victory on Saturday, taking down the New York Liberty 83-78 at home. Fever rookie Caitlin Clark notched WNBA history in the matchup, recording the first triple-double by a rookie the league has ever seen.

Following the game, Aliyah Boston shared a message to Clark, revealing her initial reaction to Clark's WNBA record.

"TRIPLE DOUBLEEEEE, as you should Caitlin Clark, great Fever dubbb," said Boston via X.

Boston was quick to show her applause for Clark, posting her reaction on social media minutes after the game had ended. The South Carolina alum finished the game with 18 points and eight rebounds, while Clark's historical stat line produced 19 points, 13 assists, and 12 rebounds.

Her comment on X has received over 800 retweets and 250K views less than an hour into the post.

Clark continues to show why she was the No. 1 pick of the 2024 WNBA draft. She leads all rookies with 16 points and 7.1 assists on the season. While her scoring was highlighted as her strong suit when she entered the league, Clark's versatility has proven to be exceptional early in her career.

Boston was the No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 class, so she's been able to live by Clark's side through all of the pressure and scrutiny. The two seem to be building one of the best duos in the WNBA.
