Sabrina Ionescu Used 2 Words To Sum Up Her Relationship With Pau Gasol

New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu has left no secrets about her friendship with Kobe Bryant and Paul Gasol. The latter even attended a Liberty game in May and took a photo with her after the game, saying the words "little sis."

Now, Sabrina Ionescu is returning the favor and posted a story on her Instagram page while congratulating Pau Gasol on his birthday. The caption read, "Happy birthday mi hermano" with a heart emoji, which translates to "Happy birthday, my brother."

With Gasol being from Spain, this is a special birthday message in his native language.

Those words perfectly describe the relationship between Gasol and Ionescu, who regard each other as siblings. The photo was of Ionescu and Gasol hugging each other.

Gasol and Ionescu's relationship is nothing new, and the former Los Angeles Lakers star even attended her wedding in March.

Gasol has been on hand for several Liberty games in the past and Ionescu and him have enjoyed this friendship for many years.
