Angel Reese's Intense Exchange With Chennedy Carter During Sky Loss Goes Viral

The Chicago Sky suffered a tough 81-67 loss against to the New York Liberty on Thursday.

Rookie Angel Reese finished the game with only 8 points, which means that her historic streak of games with a double-double came to an end at 15.

It also wasn't a great performance for Reese's teammate, Chennedy Carter.

Despite averaging nearly 17 points per game during this 2024 WNBA season, Carter only produced 7 points in merely 16 minutes played in the game.

Much was made about the minimal minutes Carter received, and Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon got a lot of hate for it.

Despite the loss, a seemingly positive but intense back and forth interaction between Reese and Carter went viral on Saturday.

The interaction was posted on TikTok by @espnW, and already has nearly 250,000 views on the platform.

The two Sky superstars appear to be discussing something that occurred during the game. After coming to a consensus, Reese and Carter embrace then return to the court before the game commences.

It's unknown what exactly the two were talking about. But it's cool to see Reese, who is 22 years old and a rookie, leading like a veteran during the Sky's tough loss.
