NYC affordable housing building offers ‘scenic views’ of New York Harbor

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) – An affordable housing lottery is open for a building in New York City that offers “scenic views” of New York Harbor, according to its listing.
The affordable housing lottery is for Harborview Senior Apartments , located at 80 Scarboro Ave. in the northeastern part of Staten Island.
“The building is perfectly situated on a dead-end avenue on the waterfront with scenic views of the New York Harbor,” the building’s listing states. “It is also located minutes away from Alice Austen Park.”
A majority of the affordable units at Harborview Senior Apartments are for people who are 62 and older.

The building offers one- and two-bedroom apartments, with 31 units available.
“The units are configured with open concept layouts, large bedrooms, and modern kitchens,” the building’s listing states.
The property is listed on the NYC Housing Connect website, an online portal where people can find and apply for affordable housing opportunities in New York City.
Applications for Harborview Senior Apartments will remain open until Sept. 16. The eligible income range is $56,538 to $218,010.
