Zedd will be playing to just 25 fans who can managed to find the correct New York City bodega on Aug. 22.

An advertisement for the event on Instagram touted the bodega show as "Zedd's smallest show ever." It is sponsored by 5 Gum as part of their Life Happens in 5 campaign and the brand will be dropping clues leading up to the event. They've been hinting about the announcement for days, calling it their "next masterpiece."

As of writing, the company hasn't revealed the first hint or more details on what to look out for, but fans are speculating on how the entire ordeal will go down. One fan on Instagram is guessing that tickets will be dropped throughout the city in gum packets, but that wasn't confirmed by the business themselves.

New Yorkers were quick to make jokes about the concert. "I want Zedd to make me a chopped cheese," laughed one. Another replied: "the ocky way…"

Internationally, though, fans were devastated. "Man, tell Zedd to pull his 'treasure hunt' shenanigans here in the UK too. What is this discrimination?" wrote one. Another said: "I envy the US fans so much."

Zedd is known for these sort of unique opportunities with fans. "Bruuuuuh still remember that day when @zedd revealed True Colors album gathered US fans to listening party at the diff venue related to each track," a fan recalled.

The odds of finding the correct bodega are slim. "Bruh with how many bodegas there are, good luck," a fan mused on X, formerly known as Twitter. After all, the Science Survey estimates that there are 13,000 bodegas across the bustling city. Another added: "You have better luck finding a $2 bill."

Zedd recently made a move in his personal life to sell his massive mansion in California. The 14,779-square-foot home in Encino was listed at $18,999,000, but sold for only $17,125,000. Regardless, the DJ did make a profit off of the sale, originally having bought the place for $15.2 million. In the past, stars like Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have lived on the property which was built in 2019.
