After an injury scare during qualifiers, Simone Biles is looking to become the most decorated US gymnast ever at the Olympics.

The seven-time medalist headlines a five-person gymnastics squad that also includes three more members of the 2020 team: Jordan Chiles, reigning floor exercise gold medalist Jade Carey, and reigning all-around champ Sunisa Lee. They’re joined by first-time Olympian Hezly Rivera , a 16-year old from New Jersey who is Team USA’s youngest competitor.

The team members competing on each apparatus today were decided during the qualifiers, where each team put up four members for each apparatus — only the three highest scores per event were counted with the fourth low score dropped from the totals.

Team USA qualified for the team final by finishing first in their subdivision on Sunday morning, and now hope to keep that momentum all the way to the top of the podium today.

In the team final, Team USA can only put up three members on each apparatus and all three scores count; this means Rivera, who scored the lowest, dropped scores on both of her qualifier events, will not be competing today, but she’ll be present as a backup if needed and if the team finishes in one of the top three spots, she’ll receive a medal.

Here’s who you’ll see competing during today’s team final:

    • Vault: Biles, Carey, Chiles
    • Uneven bars: Chiles, Biles, Lee
    • Balance beam: Chiles, Lee, Biles
    • Floor exercise: Lee, Chiles, Biles

Team USA’s push for gold in gymnastics begins today with the team final and you can stream every moment of them on Peacock or for free with a live TV streaming service .
