Ben Affleck’s cousin making debut on ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ with wife — also named Jen

The Afflecks were made for showbiz.

Ben and Casey Affleck ’s first cousin — once removed — Zac Affleck, is following in his family’s footsteps as he heads to television.

Zac will appear in Hulu’s new reality series, “ The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives ,” alongside his wife, TikTok star Jen Affleck .

The Utah native’s father is Ben and Casey’s cousin.

In a statement obtained by People ahead of the show’s premiere next month, Jen shared she is “excited to talk about the things that have happened in my relationship.”

The 25-year-old added, “It feels like we got ten years of marriage counseling in this one season of filming.”

Zac and Jen have two children, a son and a daughter, whom she showcases on TikTok, where she boasts more than 1 million followers.

The influencer is known for being a fixture on MomTok and filming various skits, including a clip joking about her husband’s connection to Ben and his wife, Jennifer Lopez .

In the 2022 TikTok, Jen dances in front of her toddler while the words “When you thought you were going to become the next JLo” flash across the screen.

“But instead,” the text continued as kids’ music played in the background, “she stole your name and you’re busting it down with Ms. Rachel.”

Jen captioned the video, “Can’t forget that Ben Affleck is my husband’s second cousin.”

While their marriage seems to be thriving, the same can’t be said for Zac’s famous cousin’s union with Lopez. Rumor has it that Bennifer 2.0 is on the verge of divorce after just two years of marriage.

As the world waits for Ben and that Jen’s romance to implode, they can get to know Zac and his wife by the same name.

According to the series synopsis, the “Mormon Wives” show will follow “the scandalous world of a group of Mormon mom influencers [that] implodes when they get caught in the middle of a swinging sex scandal.”

In 2022, one of the show’s cast members, Taylor Frankie Paul, announced her divorce from her ex-husband, Tate Paul, and opened up about their “soft swinging” lifestyle.

At the time, Taylor admitted that she and Tate agreed not to “go all the way” with other people but that she “did step out of that agreement.”

Taylor later introduced the world to her new boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen , as the man she “cheated with.”

“I want people to have a better understanding of who I am,” Taylor said in a statement about the Hulu series. “I wanted to be vulnerable and show people that when you hit rock bottom, there is hope.”

Taylor was famously arrested in February 2023 on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child.

Taylor pleaded guilty in August 2023 to aggravated assault. The other charges were dropped.

All eight episodes of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” hit Hulu on Friday, Sept. 6.
