A hate-spewing lunatic allegedly called a Muslim passer-by a “terrorist,” then pummeled him in a horrifying caught-on-camera beat-down in Midtown — only to end up freed without bail.

David Grinblat, 35, savagely attacked Sheharyar Ali Kazmi, 25, near Rockefeller Center on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan on Aug. 5, Manhattan prosecutors said at the suspect’s supreme-court arraignment Monday.

The unhinged Brooklyn nut came out of nowhere and spat on Kazmi, who was talking on the phone, and called him a “f–king Muslim,” said Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Matthew Bayley.

When Kazmi asked Grinblat what he was doing, the suspect shouted more anti-Muslim slurs at him before telling him that he’s a “terrorist, a f–king Muslim and to go back to Asia,” prosecutors said.

Grinblat then allegedly punched Kazmi, who lives in Hewlett, LI, several times in the face.

Kazmi, who recorded the altercation with his phone, followed the alleged Muslim hater into the Fifth Avenue/53rd Street subway station, according to video obtained by The Post.

Grinblat — dressed in a gray Hurley hat, navy shirt and khaki shorts — appeared to give Kazmi the middle finger while telling him to “suck a d–k n—a.”

A bloodied Kazmi continued following Grinblat underground to ask him why he punched him as Grinblat repeatedly yelled, “Death to all Muslims!” before dropping his bag to continue beating Kazmi, the footage shows.

The nutjob then fled the scene before he was arrested three days later at his home, court papers said.

“As alleged, David Grinblat attacked a man because of his perceived religion and national origin and spewed racist, anti-Muslim words at him,” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said in a statement. “We will continue to hold those accountable who commit acts of hatred, which have no place in our city.”

Grinblat also has two criminal mischief cases in Brooklyn against him, including a May 30 arrest for allegedly throwing a glass bottle of wine through a window panel, court records show.

He was charged in the Aug. 5 assault with two counts of assault in the third degree as a hate crime and aggravated harassment.

Kazmi suffered a bloodied lip and a cut to his face in the attack, according to prosecutors.

Grinblat had already been arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court, where a judge allowed him out on supervised release despite prosecutors asking he be held on $30,000 bail.

He was then indicted and had to appear in supreme court to be arraigned there, and prosecutors again sought to lock Grinblat up on $30,000 cash bail.

But Grinblat, who pleaded not guilty to the hate-crime assault charge, was let out again on supervised release by that judge, Laura Ward, after his lawyer, Geoffrey Bickford, successfully argued that he’s “batting 1.000 for checking in” with court orders after the previous hearing.

Grinblat — who was seen in court Monday wearing a backpack, with his mom by his side — went berserk in the hallway because he didn’t want his photograph taken by the press.

“Get f–ked!” Grinblat repeatedly told a group of reporters while covering his face and flipping the bird at photographers.

If convicted of the hate crime, Grinblat faces a heftier potential jail sentence — up to four years in prison.

He’s due back in court Nov. 20.
