    1 dead, 2 injured in shooting outside Pittsburgh gas station after street fight

    One man was killed and several others were injured in an early morning shooting near a Speedway gas station in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, according to reports.

    Multiple people were shot near the Speedway located on State Street in Clairton, southeast of Pittsburgh, around 4 a.m. Sunday, police told WPXI.

    Police were called to the scene to respond to a “disturbance,” and found people fighting in the street. Soon after, they heard multiple shots fired into the crowd around 4:10 a.m.

    One man was killed and two others were injured, an officer on the scene told the outlet.

    The man who died was trying to leave the area after being shot but crashed his vehicle on State Street, flipping it over and sharing a utility pole just near the gas station, police said.

    The injured men were taken to hospitals in the area, where they are in stable condition.

    One person was detained at the scene, police added.
