Simon Biles has ‘plenty’ of Bears gear following Packers jacket debacle: ‘Don’t you worry’

Simone Biles is out with the old and in with the new.
The seven-time Olympic gold medalist confirmed that her closet no longer features Packers attire and has been refreshed with Bears gear to support her husband, Chicago safety Jonathan Owens.
Owens, who spent only one season with the Packers after four with the Texans, signed a two-year contract with the Bears during the offseason.
Biles previously drew criticism from Chicago fans after sporting a jacket that included black and white photos of Owens in Packers garb and few Green Bay logos at the Bears’ preseason clash with the Bengals on Aug. 17.
At the time, Biles didn’t defend herself against the critics but did post on social media.
“The way I be wanting to clap back soooo bad but I gotta stay as classy as possible,” Biles shared on Threads then.
However, Bears fans should no longer fear that her loyalties lie elsewhere.
“Yes, I have plenty [of Bears gear] now,” Biles said as she was leaving the Global Summit on Women’s Mental Health on Thursday, as covered by TMZ . “So, don’t you worry, guys!”
The safety recorded a sack, forced fumble, 84 tackles and a fumble recovery for a touchdown for the Packers last season.
The couple had an eventful offseason that included Owens adjusting to his new team to Biles’ return to the Olympics after a bout of the “twisties” in Tokyo in 2021 that forced her to withdraw from the games.
Biles, 27, walked away from Paris with three gold medals — the women’s individual all-around, women’s vault and team all-around — along with a silver in the floor exercise final.
