When Jessica dropped her young daughter, Victoria, off at her sister’s house for the afternoon, she was expecting everything to go well.

Jessica had to work over the weekend, so she asked her sister – who has three kids of her own – if she could watch her daughter while she was away.

But, as reported by Kidspot , when she picked her up from her sister’s house, she didn’t expect to receive a whopping invoice for everything her daughter did – and touched – over the weekend.

    ‘How ridiculous is this girl?’

Jessica took to TikTok to share the text messages she exchanged with her sister, which quickly blew into a full-on feud.

“Here is a breakdown of everything Victoria used in my home,” her sister’s text message began.

Jessica’s sister gave her a very detailed invoice after watching her daughter over the weekend? TikTok

“Times are getting hard and I think it is only fair we charge for stuff that she used while being here.”

Attached to the text was an invoice for Jessica to pay, complete with a break down of every single charge she expected her sister to reimburse her for.

Some were more than fair – especially when considering some are doing it tough financially. Victoria apparently wet the bed, which Jessica’s sister charged her $10 to help clean.

The sister also took her kids and Victoria to an Italian restaurant, charging Jessica $17 for the meal.

    The reasonable charges ended there.

Three cups of apple juice would cost Jessica $3, and she was asked for $1.25 for “paint used when drawing”, $3 for the three bags of chips Victoria ate, and $7 for “using electricity to play video games”.

Even one cup of milk would set Jessica back $1, which, honestly, would cover the cost of an entire carton.

Other charges included 50 cents for flushing the toilet, which Victoria reportedly did five times, and another 50 cents for every time she washed her hands.

Jessica’s sister said Victoria also wanted to go to the park, so she charged her $3.75 for petrol to get there, $4.50 to watch Netflix, and a whopping $10 to use Wi-Fi on the iPad.

“Please pay $72 by APRIL 30th, 2024 to avoid interest,” the end of the text read.

A furious Jessica posted on TikTok to air her grievances with the rest of the world.

In response to the invoice, all she could respond with was: “You have issues! How do I decline this BS (bullsh*t)?”

“How ridiculous is this girl?” she said in the video.

“Like, she flushed the toilet five times, $10 for Wi-Fi, $4.50 for Netflix, a bag of chips, like really? Really? How ridiculous is she? You know?”

Jessica’s sister responded to her text, however, with the argument that the invoice was perfectly reasonable.

“If she were to have taken my niece to a daycare they would have charged her at least like $150 just to watch her,” Jessica’s sister said in a text shared in a follow-up video.

“I have enough on my plate, you know I have a lot of people that live here, so her coming over here was an extra mouth to feed.

Jessica’s sister complained that Victoria was “an extra person who was breathing in my home. Taking away from my children”.

“It definitely caused so much freaking stress you don’t even know,” she wrote.

“I was mentally exhausted, it was so stressful having so many children here. I just couldn’t deal with it.”

    ‘Time for a new sister’

People were divided by both videos, with some arguing it was “ridiculous” to charge so much to babysit a member of your own family.

“I’m on your side!! Who charges for a favour?” someone asked.

“Honestly, if this were me my kids would never go back there,” another wrote.

“I watch my sister’s kids for free, and they eat all my food and leave a mess, but I love them like they’re my own so I never thought to ask for money,” a third said.

“This is wild!” another commented. “Girl, time for a new sister.”

But some didn’t think her charges were too extreme.

“I get (the charges for) wetting the bed and Olive Garden the rest is absolutely insane,” one comment read.

“The only valid charges are the Olive Garden meal and peeing the bed,” another agreed.

    “Everything else is wild.”
